ASSESSMENTS AND SURVEYS

Google Forms
This is a way to create a survey. I like that you can create multiple choice, rating scales, true/false, short answer and long answer options. You can also tell the program to correct your surveys, so it corrects your test for you! I have used these quite a bit since they are compatible with my Google website. You can revise your surveys very easily, even after you embed it on a website. Viewing the results is difficult as it doesn't show many results at once and you have to do a lot of scrolling.

Uses:
*Book questionairres
*Homework
*Science and social studies assessments
*Parent surveys

SurveyMonkey
This is also a survey tool. Editing is a little trickier than Google forms. I do like how the results show up and can be downloaded as a pdf and easily printed.

Rubrics
There are other sites available for surveys, but these fit my purpose very well.

Quiz-Making Tools
There are several different options for quiz-making on this website. Some websites give students immediate feedback on the answers that they provided. I would not use any of these sites with my first graders as that would mean the students would have to learn a new place to go and it is a challenge enough to get to the websites we use frequently!
